My Path to the agency and my current role:
In 2015, I had been working in my father’s agency selling life, health, farm and auto insurance for two years when Jerry Kesner reached out to me about an opening at Kesner Insurance. After serving as personal lines agent/account manager for seven years, I transitioned to the commercial lines department and serve as a commercial lines agent and account manager.
What I like about working at Kesner Insurance:
I like working for a family-owned business and enjoy working with my coworkers. The agency has always recognized the importance of my family to me and has been very flexible when I need to attend family events.
What I like about being in the insurance business:
Relationships with customers, helping people with their business risk management needs and working with a diverse variety of business types are what I like most about being a commercial agent.
Family/home life & what I like to do with my free time:
I’ve been married to my wife, Regina, since 2004 and have two sons, Derek and Luke. We recently added a new puppy, Maggie, to the family too. We spend most of our free time with our kids at baseball and football fields and karate dojos.
